School: Palos
Verdes Ballet is one of the nation's premier ballet training
schools. Many students have been awarded scholarships to Joffrey Ballet School,
Houston Ballet, Kirov Ballet in
Washington, D.C., and The School of American Ballet in New York,
as well as The Royal Ballet School, London, the Royal Danish
Ballet, Copenhagen. Alumni with Palos Verdes Ballet dance with
many professional companies including San
Francisco Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet in Seattle, American
Ballet Theater, Colorado Ballet, Les Ballet de Monte Carlo and
in Japan.

Palos
Verdes Ballet welcomed the return of former Kirov artist Adonis
Daukaev.
Daukaev choreographed original contemporary variations
for the Youth America Grand Prix. Taking part the YAGP are
Veronica Edwards (12), Ellie Hara (14), May Nakatsuka (13),
Jacqueline Stoneburner (13), and Lauren Stoneburner (15).
This will be the fourth generation of Palos Verdes Ballet
dancers to take part in the competition attended by students
throughout the United States and the world
